A spooky comedy for Halloween that is Out of This World!
You the audience are our latest cadets, and gather at space camp to learn a cautionary tale of when humans first explored space and how badly we once behaved… A long long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, the egomaniac billionaire Pecan Husk sets up another distant space colony. His new crew sense something strange is going on, but WHAT is his secret? As his actions unleash alien terrors, will they be able to stop him?

ABOUT US

BRIGHTON’S LGBTQ+ THEATRE GROUP

We are a new Performing Arts group whose mission is to create a safe space to access the amazing world of theatre in all its forms for the LGBTQ+ community and our allies across Sussex.

The group stages a variety of shows and concerts throughout the year with an exciting range of repertoire to high production standards. It’s a great opportunity to develop and perform with like-minded individuals in a fun and supportive environment.

The group is open to anyone, although you must be aged over 18 and you must be reasonably competent and confident. While we do not currently hold formal auditions, your first session will be on a trial basis. If you do wish to hold a formal audition, we would be delighted to arrange this! Private paid lessons are also available separately if you want to gauge your level before coming along or want additional support and practice.

We hope you can join us and look forward to seeing you soon.

Halloween Show 2025 – Space Camp!

Another original Musical Theatre production from the creative mind of Lucy Nordberg and produced by Elliot Toms. Still being written but imagine Scooby Door meets Doctor Who and you can see where this is heading!

  • Rehearsals start August 2025
  • Show dates 30th, 31st October 2025 and 1st November
  • Show fee £60

Fees include professional direction and production costs, all sheet music, backing tracks, videos, etc.

World Aids Day!

We are aiming to perform at the annual World Aids Day concert at St Mary’s Church, as a way to support the charity and showcase some of our musical numbers.

  • Rehearsals TBC – possibly 2-3 rehearsals on Tuesday nights in November
  • Show date: 1st December 2025
  • Nominal fee TBC (to cover rehearsals)

Fees include professional direction and production costs, all sheet music, backing tracks, videos, etc.

Seasons of Love II – Friday 13th February 2026!

Given the date we couldn’t help but put together a fun cabaret concert on the theme of being unlucky in love. We love a storyline so if you are interested in acting please get in touch and we can develop a script around the cast. We’d also really love to incorporate dance, and bring in other musicians for solos or to be part of a band. Singing can be on book so this is an easy way to get involved, and solos or small group numbers are available.

Spring Fringe Show – dates TBC late May 2026!

We are still developing ideas for our spring show but following the success of N.O.T.B.I.G. Decides! we are aiming to be in the Brighton Fringe again, late May. It will be a musical comedy and again we are looking for singers, dancers, actors and musicians. Rehearsals start March 2026 straight after Seasons of Love 2.

Private lessons may be available from the team at rates of around £40-60/hr depending on content and location. Please contact the team directly.
